Secret Santa Stakeout

This is for the #AkuRoku Secret Santa! As my first one I was really nervous about doing it right but I'm glad I finally understand how to do it now. I'm not allowed to say who it's for or what the list of was, but let's just say I'm glad it was a simple and traditional kind of thing as opposed to something weird like:

1) Giant Robot
2) Dinosaur
3) Space Station

That would've killed me.X_X

Anyways, I actually turned the paper on its side and worked off the center of the page. Oddly enough this helped me with the composition ALOT. I really enjoyed drawing the PJs and making them loose and baggy looking(and also making them warm and comfortable). I really hated having the PJs being just one solid color so I was thinking of what kind of print to do when I decided on making the print their organization number! So Axel has "VIII" on his (red for his signature color) and Roxas has "XIII" on his (I made blade his signature since black and white are kind of his signature "colors"). The white print was done with a white colored pencil after I colored it black with a copic marker. Roxas is wearing slippers with a checkered stripe on it in homage to his Twilight Town threads and Grey is the combination of Black and White so I felt it was still alright.

Now Axel here he's been shaking his present for a while trying to figure out what it is(the silver and gold present is Roxas's and the red and green one is a kind of bribe for Santa to encourage a "nice" present). Meanwhile Roxas is having a cookie while intently watching the chimney for Santa to come down and give him an additional present. Roxas is just having one so that the sugar rush can keep him awake through the night.*lol* Just so you know the plate the cookies is on is from Marluxia but it was actually Zexion who made the cookies.

For the picture overall I will say that I enjoyed doing an interaction between people and objects while keeping mind of composition. Been a while since I've done that and I'm glad I didn't forget how to do that. Believe it or not but I honestly think the coloring was the most time consuming part of this drawing. The last picture I did of the Bimbettes Jam "Gaston's Fans" helped me get ready for doing multiple figures as well. It's SO much easier doing 2 figures as opposed to 3.

I literally worked on this off and on from about 5 or 6 in the afternoon until 3AM today. Then I scanned it and went to bed so...Yeah, I almost thought I wouldn't make it!*lol*
