One of our projects in Drawing II was to partner up w/ a classmate and do their portrait. I had done this before once but that was more of an exercize than an assignment. These kind of exercizes always make me nervous because I always feel I fail at capturing my person/I don't have a picture to take home. I feel like the only thing I did right here was the hair. The lips were the hardest part for me since she has uniquely shaped lips. Pencil drawings don't seem to show up as well on my digi-cam so again I apologize for that. Too bad she's way cuter than this picture!
